The Convocation Ceremony marks the culmination of your academic journey and is a significant time for students to celebrate their accomplishments. Steeped in symbolism and tradition, this ceremony officially defines the completion of the rigorous time students spend at the University, setting a strong foundation for their future professional and personal endeavors. The 22ⁿᵈ Convocation ceremony is scheduled for 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 20, 2025, and will be held at the Symbiosis International (Deemed University), Lavale, Pune Campus.
We are honored that Dr. S. Jaishankar, External Affairs Minister, Government of India, will grace the occasion as the esteemed Chief Guest.
SSPAD, Nagpur had conducted its Induction Ceremony “Prarambha 25” for the freshers of B.Design Batch 2025-29. The venue for the Induction Ceremony was the Seminar Hall of the Institute. The event started with Inaugural address by Ms. Kriti Kusum ,HOD Dr. Purva Mange, 1st year Incharge Ms. Aditi Lule, student and parent representative for the lighting of the lamp followed by the National Anthem that generated feelings of pride and patriotism in this auspicious environment.
On the occasion of Republic Day, the Symbiosis School of Planning Architecture and Design (SSPAD) Nagpur, hosted a remarkable celebration under the theme "Swarnim Bharat: Virasat aur Vikas" (Golden India: Heritage and Progress). The event was attended with great enthusiasm and participation, bringing together all the institutes of SIU Nagpur Campus . This year, SSPAD's celebration was unique in its approach, with the theme focusing on India’s rich heritage and its continuous development journey. The event began with a traditional and auspicious ceremony of lamp lighting.
Symbiosis School of Planning Architecture and Design (SSPAD) is an institution which brings together a perfect blend of three streams namely planning, architecture and design under one roof. We offer a five year degree programme in Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) and a four year Bachelor of Design (B.Design) undergraduate degree wherein, the students opting for these programmes choose their discipline of choice and will engage for four years honing the skills that will allow them to be industry ready at the end of it.
The Symbiosis School of Planning, Architecture, and Design Nagpur, under the leadership of Director Dr. Nandini Kulkarni, successfully held the Industry-Academia Conclave 2024 on 18th October 2024. This crucial event took place offline at the SIU Auditorium. It was not just limited to SSPAD students; the event saw participation from aspiring designers and students from various schools and junior colleges in Nagpur, including attendees from students inside the SIU Nagpur campus. This initiative, organized by the Training and Placement Cell, was aimed at strengthening the ties between the industry and academia.
